Project Overview
The Pearl Social Run Club is a vibrant, community-focused running group based in San Antonio’s historic and upscale Pearl District. The goal was to create a visual identity that captured the kinship of the social group, the activity of running, and the premium location of The Pearl.
The Brand Challenge
In a crowded local running scene, TPSRC needed a mark that was instantly recognizable and leveraged the unique, high-profile location of The Pearl. The identity had to serve as a versatile badge for both apparel and digital marketing.
The Solution: The Running Seal
We developed the Running Seal—a circular mark that functions as both an official badge of membership and a dynamic symbol of forward momentum. This strategy merges classic, trustworthy aesthetics with active, modern iconography.
Iconography
The central element is a stylized, overhead view of a **running shoe sole and tread**. This offers an authentic, detail-oriented metaphor for speed, impact, and the path covered, avoiding generic running figures.
Frame & Typography
The circular frame symbolizes **unity and community**. Robust, bold typography is wrapped around the perimeter, giving the mark a substantial, embossed quality, cementing the brand's established presence.
